Lost Car Keys Land Rover
Replacement Land Rover Keys can be an issue even to a Land Rover Dealership.
If you drive a Discovery 2, these vehicles can come with THREE complex Immobiliser Systems:
1: The Lucas system has a separate remote and key and is Dealer Only in an All Keys Lost scenario.
2: The Valeo system is a Remote Key, all in one. The remote acts as the immobiliser, and is also currently Dealer Only in an All Keys Lost scenario.
3: The EWS system is again a Remote and Key, all in one. This has the same immobiliser system as early BMW vehicles, so we’re able to program replacement keys for you.
Do you drive a Discovery 3 or Freelander II? We can easily provide you with Replacement Keys, even if you have no keys at all.
From 2012, Land Rover vehicles can come with a “Locked KVM Module”. This basically means you need a new Genuine KVM Module if you want any Spare or Replacement Land Rover Keys. This is unnecessarily expensive, and is a huge inconvenience to you and your vehicle.
If your 2012 + Land Rover is serviced at a dealership, they can perform a security update which locks the KVM from further key programming.
The vehicles affected by this KVM Security Update are:
- – Evoque
- – Sport
- – Vogue
- – Velar
- – Discovery 4
- – Discovery 5
- – Freelander 3
We provide a quick and efficient Replacement Land Rover Keys service.
If you’d like a price on a Replacement Land Rover Key, you can either call us here or fill out our Instant Quote form. Please be sure to fill in the year and model of your Land Rover.
Due to most Land Rover vehicles having a Smart Key, we’ll need your VIN in order to track down an accurate price. This is due to needing Genuine Parts, which we keep in stock.
